This Defender we sourced around from Germany – it has an appealing 209,200 km history and it has an immaculate clean chassis and bulkhead,. We changed the transfer case and we have installed suspension from Old Man Emu, the truck has a lift of 2.2 inch. This truck will be rebuild to a beach runner in dark olive green with a black/chocolate brown interior with wood elements. We tuned it to 180hp with Td5 inside and removed the mid silencer to give it a more exciting sound. This late 1998 Defender 110 TDI Station Wagon we sourced in the North of The Netherlands where it served as a company car for a producer of wooden sail boats. The truck has many upgrades which makes it ready to go as an overlanding truck or a base for a full restoration. There is heavy duty winch / winch bumper and a protection guard for steering. It has a brand new roof rack with additional strong lights and the engine comes with a high air intake. The suspension has been lifted with a Terrafirma kit. We did a full technical check, replaced all the oils and timing belt so the truck is ready to go! Attention points for this Defender are the doors that need work / replacement, the front outriggers of the chassis are advised to be replaced and the interior could use an upgrade. This original Dutch Arles Blue 110 Hi-Cap received its first registration in 1997. It was used by an industrial designer in the South of The Netherlands for many years. It served to carry materials for design lamps. It has therefore not gained a lot of miles – currently at 108.000 miles. Good thing is that it has always been stored inside. It has a beautiful patina but could also serve as a great base for a newly built overland truck. The truck is available now in Arizona, Tuscon via our partner www.sonoranrovers.com.

We found this original Dutch registered truck in the North of Holland. This early TD5 has been maintained very well and has been stored dry which can be seen as its condition. We found this truck last year while in a storage in far north of The Netherlands. It has driven 240.000km. Very good state technically with a reliable 300tdi engine but body work and interior needed some love and attention. We have taken apart the body and interior and repainted it in a glowing Firenze Red metallic colour. The interior will be black with red color accents/stitch with American Walnut elements.
